Fifty-two will lose jobs under Pleasantville school budget

PLEASANTVILLE - About 52 school district employees would lose their jobs under an $86.8 million budget introduced by the Board of Education Thursday night, due to a loss of nearly $4 million in state aid, school officials said.

BRIGANTINE - The 2010-11 Brigantine School District budget approved by the Board of School Estimates will cut 13 positions, including four full-time teaching positions, five full-time support staff and four part-time support staff, School Business Administrator Charles Brewin said.
