The Murphy administration yesterday released the district-by-district breakdown of proposed state aid for public education in 2020-2021. The total comes to $9.01 billion or close to a quarter of Gov. Phil Murphy’s overall $40 billion spending plan.
More than 370 districts would see increases under the governor’s plan, and close to 200 would face cuts in the total state aid they now receive.

New Jersey’s school funding shakeup continues with Gov. Phil Murphy’s 2021 state budget proposal, producing another round of winners and losers.
