1.     Opening of Web-based System for Commissioner’s Program for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act – The announcement notifies school districts that the web-based Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) is open for use in compliance with the Commissioner’s program for determining grades under the ABR.

2.     Paterson Students Win Dozens of Awards for History Projects – Students from Paterson won awards for 46 history projects at the Northern Regional National History Day.

 

3.     Bergen Prosecutor Plans Safety Assessment of Schools Throughout County – Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli held an open forum to share school safety and security information with the community and announce plans to assess school buildings to help determine whether additional safety or security actions can be taken.

 

4.     Student Achievement at Trenton Charter School Surpassing District Averages – Discipline and order are key to Foundation Academy’s approach to helping Trenton students succeed.  Test scores seem to indicate that the approach is working.
