New Jersey may benefit from federal grants intended for educational reform, according to a report by NorthJersey.com.
The report said that the state may get at least $200 million of the $4.35 billion grants that will be distributed nationwide, according to an announcement made by U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan today.
New Jersey has until mid-January to prepare an application for the first round of grants, the report said. The second round of grants' applications are due in June.
