MARLBORO — The Marlboro Board of Education will allow advertising to be sold on its website and in other district publications, according to a report on APP.com.

The measure, unanimously approved Tuesday by the kindergarten through eighth grade board, doesn't allow advertising that is political or religious in nature. Prices will range from $2,500 to $7,500 and aims to close a $2.2 million budget gap.
