ATTENTION GSCS MEMBERS/PARENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP We need to have a large group on hand in Trenton to make a visual statement of support for GSCS’ November 1 Press Conference -noted below- that will address school funding and governance issues under deliberation in Trenton in its Special Session on Property Taxes. As you know, the legislature and the Governor are set to recommend significant change to our system of public education. Our concerns need to be heard and our voices must resonate throughout the state. Please let us know how many from your district plan to join with GSCS in Trenton on November 1 by RSVP’s to cyndywu@gmail.com or call 609 529 5351. We will meet in Room 319 at the Statehouse at 10:30, a half hour prior to the press conference. Thank you.

The Garden State Coalition of Schools (GSCS) invites members and parents to attend a press conference on the current Special Legislative Session and its possible impact on the future of quality education in New Jersey.  Parent speakers from around the state will join GSCS Executive Director Lynne Strickland in airing parent concerns and offering positive suggestions for sustaining quality education for all students while reducing costs statewide.
