Ken continues to serve numerous SSC clients, but is also Executive in Residence at the
Ken is well known for his personal expertise in school management, business, public finance, and collective bargaining. He is author of many articles on school finance and budgeting, has written numerous workshop curricula aimed at serving
On behalf of the State Legislature, Ken has been Chairman of the Working Group on Finance and Facilities for the Master Plan for Education. He serves on numerous boards, including the University of Redlands Board of Trustees, the San Juan Unified School District Bond Oversight Committee, the Center for Youth Citizenship, and the education advisory committee of the Public Policy Institute of California.
Ken served in major state positions in both the legislative and executive branches throughout the 1960s and early 1970s. In his last state responsibility, he served as Chief Deputy Director of the Department of Finance (1971-1974) for the state of
