Jersey Journal--Appellate court strikes down Jersey City school district’s deal to pay union reps’ salaries

The Jersey City school district cannot use taxpayer funds to pay the salaries of teachers’ union representatives, a three-judge appellate court panel said Wednesday in a ruling that is expected to have a ripple effect across the state.
